Overall the strategy to internationalise in to Lisbon will open up many opportunities for Victoria’s Secret. Although it may be a challenging and costly venture, with Victoria’s secret strong brand image and high profits, the business has the potential so thrive in the market and beat competitors. There is a need for this type of lingerie brand in the market with there mid market prices but luxurious looking products. With the increase in the economy after the recession, a mid market brand is what the consumers want. With the disposable income on the rise and the love for high known brands in the Portuguese market Victoria’s secret is well suited.

 

The marketing strategies will be strength for the Portuguese market, creating the new face of Portugal for the potential to be a VS angel and also a tourist-shopping destination. Victoria’s secret hope to continue the growth of their stores across Portugal after the brands one year mark, if a success they hope to within the next three years to open three new stores, in the main cities of Portugal. This is an exciting opportunity to expand the business into a new market and will look to provide unlimited growth potential for Victoria’s Secret.
